Day 1: (D) ARRIVE IN HO CHI MINH CITY
Please meet at the airport for your international flight to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. On arrival in Ho Chi Minh City you meet your guide and coach to transfer to your hotel to check in for overnight in Ho Chi Minh city. ( If time available, will be added city tour)
Day 2: (BLD) HO CHI MINH CITY – CU CHI – HO CHI MINH CITY
Abf at hotel. 08:00 Travel to the Cu Chi Tunnels, for a tour of the underground tunnel complex. The tunnels were used by Viet Cong guerrillas as hiding spots during combat, as well as serving as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous guerrilla fighters. The role of the tunnel systems should not be underestimated in its importance to the Viet Cong in resisting American operations and protracting the war, eventually persuading the weary Americans to withdraw. This afternoon after lunch at a local restaurant, Take Rickshaw to visit the War Museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral & visit Ben Thanh Market . Dinner at Quan An Ngon restaurant. c. O/n in Hochiminh city
Day 3: (BLD) HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA TOUR – DANANG-HOI AN
Abf at hotel. 08:00am: Depart for My Tho, enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields, stopping to see how the rice is cultivated an take pictures of the rice farms in the Mekong River Delta. On arrival at My Tho, take a leisurely boat trip to Tortoise Island. Then disembark and go for a gentle stroll through the picturesque orchards and fruit garden. 11:00am: Enjoy lunch at local restaurant.
Enjoy a boat ride through Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre, Return to the water for a relaxing rowing boat ride along a small canal, cruising in the shade of the water coconut trees. Learn about bee-keeping in the delta and sip a refreshing cup of honey tea to the accompaniment of traditional Vietnamese folk music. Then travel the narrow rural countryside road by horse cart to visit the coconut candy mill to find out how this delicious confectionery is made and sample the finished product. Return by boat to My Tho and drive back to Saigon. Take late afternoon flight to Danang, pick up and transfer to Hoian
Day 4: HOI AN (B,L, Cooking D)

Today, after breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a walking tour of Hoi An’s Ancient Town. Visit the Chinese Assembly Halls, Japanese Bridge (also known as Lai Vien Bridge which translates to mean “Bridge of Friends from Faraway Countries) and ancestral family homes…. Lunch . PM: enjoy a cooking class to learn to how to cook traditional Vietnamese food, before savouring the products of your labours for dinner at Red Brigde Cooking Class. O/n in Hoian .
Day 5: (BLD) HOI AN
Today, after breakfast . The tour start by driving to the once glorious holy see of Champa Kingdom at My Son is Vietnam’s most important ancient historical site. Despite of mostly damaged relics due to years of war, My Son still keep its holy beauty that worths “Valley of Kings” with vestige of 25 structures remain to this day. Back to Hoian for lunch.
PM: Visit the Orphanage in Hoian to do the volunteer works here. Dinner. Free at leisure. O/n in Hoian .
Day 6: (BLD) HOI AN- HANOI
Today, after breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Danang airport for your domestic flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, meet your coach for a visit to the Temple of Literature before lunch. Rickshaw tour around the old quarter including: Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, and the Rising Sun Bridge, History Museum. Dinner at Koto Restaurant (Western style). Enjoy Water puppet show a tradition that dates back to the 11th Century.
Day 7: (BLD) HANOI
Abf at hotel. Contineu for Hanoi City Tour including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Stilt House, Museum of Ethnology with Buffet lunch at Lotus Restaurant.
In the afternoon visit the University of Social Sciences and Humanities where there is the opportunity to mix with students and talk about the differences and similarities of each other’s lives, cultures, families, interests and aspirations.

Day 8: (BLD) HANOI – HALONG ( O/N ON CRUISE )
Today, after breakfast, 08:00Am pick up at hotel and transfer to Halong. 11:30 Get on Cruise, sightseeing tour Halong Bay – the World Heritage listed for its thousands of natural islands on Cruise, visit the Caves & Fishing Village on Halong Bay. Lunch & Dinner is on-board the cruise. O/n on Cruise
Day 9: (BLD) HA LONG – HANOI – LAOCAI ( O/N ON TRAIN)
Today, breakfast on board. Continue for sightseeiong on Halong on Cruise. Lunch on cruise. Transfer back to Hanoi… free at leisure in Old Quarter. Dinner at local restaurant. . Transfer to train station for night train to Sapa. O/n in train ( 4berth/cabin)
Day 10: (BLD) LAOCAI-SAPA
Upon arrival in Laocai, Welcome tour group at Lao Cai railway station and transfer to Sapa, high in the Hoang Lien Range of mountain.. Arrive in Sa Pa in
the mid-morning. Have breakfast inside hotel.
9:00 – 9:30 Our guide will takes you to visit two villages of Black H’mong people (Cat Cat Village), a waterfall and you have a chance to see the hydroelectric power station built by the French ( This activity take 2 hours walking up and down to the valley ) . Back to Sa Pa for lunch. After lunch you are free to visit Sa Pa town and Sapa market at the afternoon.
Dinner and overnight in Sapa.
Day 11: (BLD) SAPA
Breakfast at hotel.
Then you strart trekking to Lao Chai (Black H’mong ethnic minority). Lunch on footpath, near Lao Chai bridge and then trek through Ta Van village (Giay ethnic minority) & Giang Ta Chai village, (Red Dzao ethnic minority). Enjoy the country side on the road, visit Rattan bridge and a Red Dzao’s family, Back to Sapa. Dinner. O/n in Sapa
Day 12: (B,L,D) SAPA – LAOCAI – TRAIN
Abf at hotel. Free at leisure. Lunch. In the afternoon, back to Lao Cai city, pay a visit to Lao Cai International Bordergate, Upper Temple. Have dinner in Lao Cai, till train leave. Overnight train back to Hanoi ( 4berth/cabin)
Day 13: (BLD) HANOI
Arrive in Hanoi, upon arrival in Hanoi, transfer to your hotel for breakfast. This morning, there is a tour of the Old Quarter and Dong Xuan Market with time to shop for bargains. Free at leisure for shopping & lown activity. Lunch and dinner are at local restaurants.
Day 14: (B) HANOI – Departure
After breakfast at your hotel before meeting your guide and coach to transfer to the airport for your flight back to Melbourne.
